What is Tapptics?

Tapptics is a collection of design files and step-by-step training created to help designers, developers and idea people save time and money creating mobile apps.

Who is Tapptics?

Believe it or not, just me, Jen Gordon. :) I find these “about” pages particularly painful to write, but acknowledge (via Google Analytics) that people really do wanna know “about” people!

So why did I create Tapptics? It’s pretty simple really. I get dozens of questions daily regarding “how to create apps” and “how to design apps” and thought hey I could save myself some time AND help people if I pooled all of my knowledge in one place!

I myself am a designer by trade. Over the past few years I’ve designed and managed development for dozens of apps for clients, and my design studio Clever Twist. You can see some of those apps here.

I’ve experienced firsthand how to make money on apps, AND lose money on apps. The hardest part of running an app business is it’s largely a trial and error product development environment. The only way to grow out of that environment? Experience.

The problem is not many app developers lift the veil on what happens behind the scenes, to help other aspiring app entrepreneurs. My goal with Tapptics is to share everything I’ve learned to help others succeed!
